The CGO-51000 from COM-POWER Corporation is a Comb Generator with a frequency range from 1 to 40 GHz. It facilitates quick and reliable radiated emissions testing performed at an Open Area Test Site (OATS), Semi Anechoic Chamber (SAC) or Fully Anechoic Chamber (FAC). This comb generator is a radiating reference signal source that radiates signals with a step size of 1 GHz and frequency stability of 25 ppm. It has an amplitude stability of +/- 0.1 dB and a time stability of up to 1 dB.  

The CGO-51000 is powered by a rechargeable 6 V NiMH battery pack and has a charging adapter output of 6 VDC. When fully charged, the internal battery pack allows for continuous operation of the Comb Generator for up to 18 hours. The generator also employs an auto-shut-off feature which disables the generator output before the battery voltage drops to the point at which the generator’s output could start to change or become unstable. It is available in a circular housing that measures 17.8 x 2.5 cm and weighs 1.1 kg.
